Anita D. Magallanez

Anita D. Magallanez, a lifelong resident of El Paso and a devout Catholic, passed away on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 at the age of 89. She will always be remembered as a devoted, loving, and selfless wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Magallanez Sr. and her great-granddaughter Hinata N. McKenna. She is survived by her sons: Arthur Magallanez Jr., Armando Magallanez Sr., Daniel Magallanez Sr. (Yvette) and daughter Kathleen Bradford (Edward). She was immensely proud of her eight grandchildren, Armando Jr, Mark-Ryan (Victoria), Daniel Jr, Danielle McKenna (Damien), David, Nathan, Jake and Kathleen Elizabeth, as well as her great-grandchildren Damien Aiden and Ulric Lucas. The viewing will be held at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast (located at 4631 Hondo Pass) from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7pm on Monday, September 23rd, 2019 . The funeral mass at 10:00 am will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (located on 10000 Pheasant Rd) on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 Interment will directly follow the mass at 11:00 am leading to Fort Bliss National Cemetery where she will be to be laid to rest alongside her husband.
