Anthony E. Thompson

ANTHONY THOMPSON passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the age of 54 and was born to Ola Johnson on April 6, 1962 in Hamlin TX. Anthony attended El Paso High School and graduated in 1982. Anthony enlisted into the United States Army where he served 4 years and was honorably discharged. He began his career in the Cosmetology Industry after serving our country in 1990, and later began to use his craft as a Barber in San Antonio, TX. During his stay in San Antonio he attended Destiny Ministries with the Rev. Claudette Copeland. He returned to El Paso in 2011 and joined Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Anthony continued as a Barber in El Paso, TX. Anthony loved life and to have fun. He was the kindest person you could meet. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. His favorite past times was watching Politics on T.V. He was predeceased by his father Calvin Brown, grandparents Adell and Fred Thompson Sr. Anthony leaves to treasure his memories are his mother Ola Johnson, his 3 uncles; Fred Thompson Jr., Girlon Thompson (wife Carolyn), Curtis Thompson (wife Velma), John Mayfield, his aunts Margie Thompson, Venita Brown and a host of cousins that love him to infinity. Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 9:00AM at Sunset Funeral Home-West, with Rev. Austin officiating. Pallbearers will be: Calvin Thompson, Chris Thompson, Demetrius Thompson, Carig Caruthers, Curtis Thompson, Mark Thompson, John Thompson. Interment will follow at Ft.
