Antonio E. Lizarraga, 69, passed away August 16, 2013. Tony thoroughly enjoyed his occupation as a truck driver and being on the open road for over 40 years. His hobbies included working with his tractor, stamp/ coin collecting, star gazing, gardening, and raising peacocks. Tony is survived by his loving wife Dora Lizarraga of 45 years; his 7 children; Sandra Diaz (Ernesto), Yvonne Marquez(Raul), Christine Lizarraga(Craig Pacheco), Anthony Lizarraga(Candace), John F. Lizarraga, Jesse Lizarraga and Ruben Lizarraga, two brothers, Raul Lizarraga and Emilio Acosta ; sister Romelia Reyes, 12 grandchildren; Ernie, Pablo, Jacob and Ephraim Diaz; Raul Jr., Manny and Isaac Marquez, Mark, Juan and Ezra Lizarraga, Desiree and Christina Lizarraga ; 2 Great grandchildren; Daizee N. and Emma R. Diaz. He was also a loving uncle, brother- in law and friend. Visitation will be from 4:00pm-9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm August 20, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast located at 4631 Hondo Pass. The Lizarraga Family would like to invite all of their family and friends to please join them Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 10 am for their final viewing at Sunset Funeral Home- Northeast so that we may all go together in procession to St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 12:00 pm Noon (time pending) on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church located at 568 E. Lisa Drive , Chaparral , NM 88081. Interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery. Pall Bears to serve will be; Anthony Lizarraga, John F. Lizarraga, Raul Marquez Jr., Ernie Diaz, Manny Marquez, and Pablo Diaz. . “ “Remember the love we once shared, miss me, but let me go”. “You will be in our hearts every day, and tomorrow… shall lead the way”.
