Antonio André Trujillo

TRUJILLO, ANTONIO ANDRE "TONO" Age 38, beloved and devoted, father, fiancé, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, was embraced by the Lord and taken to eternal rest Monday, July 22, 2013. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on December 14, 1974. He lived and attended schools in Las Cruces and El Paso area and he graduated from Robertson High School in Las Vegas. After high school he took under graduate courses at Highlands University. He went on to receive his degree as a Barber in 2012, and was currently employed with Ace Barber Shop in Albuquerque. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was deployed twice to Kuwait. His decorations included Army Achievement Medal, Air Force Training Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He especially loved spending time with his son and fiancé; he loved martial arts, singing, and was a great athlete. He was a youth counselor who made a difference in many children’s lives. Antonio will be fondly remembered as a charismatic and soft spoken, lovable individual. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesus and Carmen Gomez; Evangeline Trujillo; and 1st cousin Monica Jo Lara. He is survived by his loving mother Gloria Gomez Kilkenny, stepfather John Kilkenny; biological father Ron Trujillo; his 6 year old son Antonio Enrique "Tonito" Trujillo; fiancé Rheannon Aragon and her mother Eileen Aragon; 9 loving aunts Irma, Hilda, Ma. Edelia, Teresita, Nina Sylvia, Norma, Margarita, Zulema, Olga, and their beautiful children and spouses. Antonio will be greatly missed by all. He was laid to rest on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Memorial services for Antonio will be held on Sunday August 4, 2013 from 11:00 – 1:00 at Sunset Funeral Homes West.
