Aracelia "Chela" Valdez

Aracelia "Chela" Valdez, 99, was born on July 11, 1919 and passed away October 28, 2018. She is survived by her son, Lucio G. Valdez; daughters, Teodora Sondhi, Rita Valdez, Cecilia Pineira, and Celia Garcia; as well as nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a vigil/rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (old mission). A funeral mass will take place the following day at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (old mission) at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
