Arnulfo Torres Hernandez was a man deeply loved by his entire family. He was born in 1943 in Nuevo Casas Grandes Chihuahua. He was the second eldest of eight children. At the age of 23 he immigrated to the United States. It was during this time in California that he specialized as an auto mechanic with the Volkswagen Automobile Manufacturer. He mastered this craftsmanship and took pride in his work. While in Los Angeles he met his wife, Lucia. They both enjoyed going to Dodger Stadium. As a result of their love, they became parents to a daughter. Judith Rebecca was born in 1970. Arnulfo enjoyed a simple life and loved his family with devotion. Family gatherings were the norm. During these cherished times, they laughed, joked and shared the joys of life. Arnulfo had many nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply. He was referred to as ‘Kuko’, Tio and Nufo. He has two nieces, Jessica and Monica, in which he provided a loving patriarchal influence. He loved them dearly and it was mutual. His daughter, Judith, fondly remembers her ‘Papi’ teaching her their own personal jingle at a young age. Papi, te quiero mucho…Juma!!!
