Arnulfo Torres Hernandez was a man deeply loved by his entire family. He was born in 1943 in Nuevo Casas Grandes Chihuahua. He was the second eldest of eight children. At the age of 23 he immigrated to the United States. It was during this time in California that he specialized as an auto mechanic with the Volkswagen Automobile Manufacturer. He mastered this craftsmanship and took pride in his work. While in Los Angeles he met his wife, Lucia. They both enjoyed going to Dodger Stadium. As a result of their love, they became parents to a daughter. Judith Rebecca was born in 1970. Arnulfo enjoyed a simple life and loved his family with devotion. Family gatherings were the norm. During these cherished times, they laughed, joked and shared the joys of life. Arnulfo had many nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply. He was referred to as ‘Kuko’, Tio and Nufo. He has two nieces, Jessica and Monica, in which he provided a loving patriarchal influence. He loved them dearly and it was mutual. His daughter, Judith, fondly remembers her ‘Papi’ teaching her their own personal jingle at a young age. Papi, te quiero mucho…Juma!!!
Arnulfo is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Teodosia and his two older sisters, Rebeca and Yolanda. His daughter, Judith Casas (Vicente) resides in Las Cruces. His four granddaughters are Valentina Aurora, Angeles de Montserrat, Maria de Jesus and Tabitha Gianna. Arnulfo’s remaining siblings are Antonio, Jesus Guillermo, Maria Isela, Oscar Ramiro and Mirna.

Nacío en Nuevo Casas Grandes Chihuahua, el 21 de noviembre de 1943, vivió su juventud y niñez en Janos Chihuahua.
A la edad de los 23 años emigro a los Estados Unidos y se especializo como mecánico de automóviles Volkswagen, fue en ese tiempo que conoció a Lucia Gándara su esposa, y de ese matrimonio, nació su hija Judith Rebecca.
Uno de sus pasatiempos favoritos eran las reuniones familiares en las cuales se recodaban anécdotas de la vida.
