Arturo Borrego

ARTURO BORREGO passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was born in El Paso on May 14, 1932. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 1950, and UTEP in Engineering Class of 1959. Mr. Borrego served our country proudly with the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He worked at White Sands Missile Range for 32 years and later taught at Canutillo High School for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his son Luis Andres Borrego. He is survived by his wife Graciela Borrego of 57 years, sons: David Borrego (Lori), Juan Borrego (Jennifer), his beloved grandchildren: Adrianna Martinez (Marco), Martin Borrego (Marissa), Daniel Borrego, Arianna Borrego, great-granddaughter Graciela Martinez, his siblings: Antonio Borrego, Salvador Borrego, Felipe Borrego, Belen Robles and Maria Elena Duran. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 10:30AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere. Inurnment will be held at a later date by family at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
