ARTURO P. HERNANDEZ entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 70. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and will be greatly missed. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving proudly with The United States Army and retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Correctional Counselor. He was preceded in death by his father Lorenzo Hernandez. He is survived by his mother Concepcion Hernandez, his beloved wife Manuela Hernandez, his loving children: Arturo Hernandez Jr. (Alejandra), Monica Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez (Dawn), Anthony Hernandez (Tracey Sylvester), Angel Hernandez (Omar Chavez), his beloved grandchildren: Victoria Lynn Hernandez, Selene Alexis Hernandez, Arthur Julian “A.J.” Hernandez III, Dominic Andrew Hernandez, Aidon Lorenzo Hernandez, Aeryne Adrianne Hernandez, his siblings: Aurora Silva, Federico Hernandez, Rosa Silva, Francisco Javier Hernandez, Margarita Dominguez , Socorro Dominguez and Lorenzo Hernandez Jr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 400 w. Sunset Rd. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM.
