Arturo Rios
October 11th, 1937 - April 2nd, 2026
Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend to many entered his eternal rest on Thurs, April 2nd, 2026. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruno, his spouse, Eloisa, of 57 years, and three of his sisters. Left to cherish his legacy are his children, Magdalena (David Belgie, Ricardo Pablo (Naomi) Rios, Josi Blocksom (Alan Lammi), and Arturo Pedro Rios, granddaughters, Linda (Tyler) Rosser, Serenity & Autumn Rios, and great-grandson, Reece Rosser. He is survived by his sister, Dolores, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Arturo served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, and was a Vietnam veteran. For many years, he worked as a civilian employee at Fort Bliss and received awards for his unwavering work ethic. He was a devoted husband, a wonderful father, a doting grandfather, and a loyal friend. He was strong in his Roman Catholic faith and, by his example, demonstrated to his family to trust in the Lord always.
A special thank you to Sandy Bridgers and Elvira Yasmin Del Angel Bautista, who took exceptional care of Arturo at home to ensure that Arturo passed away in his home as he had wished. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Tender Care Hospice for the services provided to Arturo in the last days of his life.
Dad, you will always be loved and will be greatly missed, but one day we will see you again!!
"You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you."
