Atila Molina (Aguirre), age 76, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico in June 17, 1939 to Alfonso Aguirre and Francisca Castañeda. As a child, Atila studied ballet, and later completed studies of Commercial Secretary. She worked with her father in his Bookstore business. She later married Enrique, the love of her life, in December 9, 1959. Atila’s love of people and service was reflected on the countless volunteer hours she gave for many years to institutions like: El Paso ISD, San Anthony’s Franciscan Seminary, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church where she helped in different activities. Her creativity was best expressed with her love to crochet and knit for all the family. Other pastimes included reading, playing dominos, board games and her favorite, spending time doing word search puzzles. She enjoyed cooking for the whole family. Atila was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister. She leaves behind her husband of 55 years Enrique “Moli”, daughters and son Maria A. and Thomas Jimenez, Jose E. & Isidra Molina, Vikki Carrasco, Araceli & Sergio Zamago, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her pet turtle, Rayita and puppy, Bebe.
