Aurora Mendoza

Aurora Mendoza passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19th in El Paso, at the age of ninety. A long-time resident of El Paso, Aurora was born in Lordsburg, New Mexico on January 25, 1925. She was a loving spouse, mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed family gatherings, encouraged occasions that would bring her family together, and had a surprising sense of humor. Aurora is preceded in death by husband Daniel G. Mendoza. Survived by sons: Lawrence Mendoza, Daniel Mendoza, Samuel Mendoza; daughter Linda Price, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many other family members who loved her dearly. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary 7:00pm on Sunday, December 27, 2015 At Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30am on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
