Aurora M. Saldaña

Aurora M. Saldaña, 88, joined her loved ones in heaven on Sunday, April 13, 2014. She was surrounded by family when she was called by the Lord. Affectionately known as Wita and Rory, a strong and passionate believer in her faith. She instilled a powerful love for her Bible and Church in her children. Dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Enjoyed shopping and frequent visits to Jack in the box. Preceded in death by her children Bertha Irma, Samuel and Guadalupe Jr. Saldaña. Survived by her brother Bernie Molinar, 4 Sons and 5 daughters: Raul & Rosie Saldaña, Maria Hortencia & Gilbert Vitela Sr., Lily & Ruben Molina, Tury & Angelica Saldaña, Rosalinda & Francisco Salcedo, Victor & Deborah Saldaña, Carlos & Yolanda Saldaña, Marylou & Jolly Ortiz and Diana & Oscar Gutierrez; 27 Grandchildren & 56 Great Grandchildren. Special Thanks to Dr. Chinwe Nduka, Dr. Rafael Medrano and Nurse Arlene Baeza at RCC for the special care of our mom. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
