Barbara "Bobbye" Cruce

Barbara "Bobbye" Cruce, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma, went to be with her loving Lord on the morning of Saturday, August 1, 2015, under the care of Hospice of El Paso. She was born and raised in Carlsbad, NM by the late Edward C. And Juanita (Jackson) Reddy. Surviving Barbara, is her loving husband Donald Cruce, of El Paso, TX; and children, Mike Lovelace and wife Bea, of Ruidoso, NM; Karen Munoz, of Austin, TX; Lou Ann Dunn and fiancé Michael Burris, of Port Orange, FL, Susie Perez, of El Paso, TX, and Jackie Barker, of Kearneysville, WV; and brother, Ron Reddy, of HI. Her extended family includes eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Reddy; son, William Lovelace lll; as well as grandchildren, Jessica Bayliss and Jeremy Jones, who we are all assured have welcomed her with open arms. Most of her years were spent in the El Paso, TX area wearing many hats that widely ranged from real estate agent, to videographer, and from craftswoman, to musical director of her own recording studio. She was an entrepreneurial spirit who touched many lives in meaningful ways, never afraid to start a new project or learn something completely new. Although passionate about music and gardening, she mostly enjoyed working hand-in-hand with her husband, a successful real estate broker and part-time farmer, who remained the constant food for her soul. Finally, the family would like to extend their love to Brenda Pena, whose excellent care made “My Bobbie’s” final years far more comfortable. May she finally rest in her Haven. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home- East with Pastor Amy Mercer from Western Hills United Methodist Church officiating.
