With profound sadness, we announce that Barry Warren Norch, age 73, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in El Paso, Texas. Barry was a devoted husband, a loving grandfather, a cherished son, brother, and uncle, and a loyal friend to many. His gentle spirit, warm heart, and quiet generosity touched every life he encountered. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Barry is preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Mary Hellen Norch; his brother, Keith Wilson; and his cousins, Robert Goldberg and Barbara Speiser.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Annette Norch; his brothers, Daniel Villalobos (Rachel) and David Zarazua (Rose); his grandson, Eduardo Gallegos; his mother‑in‑law, Manuela Loza; his brothers‑in‑law, Norman Loza and Debe Loza; and his nieces and nephews: Regina Loza, Ilene Loza (Peter), Jeanmarie Loza, Adam Villalobos (Neda), Lauren Villalobos (Nicholas), Sarah Villalobos, and Joe Fong (Claudia).
He is also survived by his cousins Arlene Goldberg, Giselle Goldberg, Artie Speiser, Michael Grunwald (Jeanne), MaryAnn Bernarski, Kathy Faltin, Janet Beard, Michael Pavkovich, Craig Pavkovich, and Joannie Pavkovich, along with many extended family members and friends who will continue to honor his memory.
Barry was a proud member of the Desert Star Lions Club. He and his wife shared a love for attending football and baseball games, enjoyed going to concerts together, and he was an avid collector of baseball cards, a hobby that brought him great joy.
Above all, Barry was one of the most selfless and giving individuals one could ever hope to meet. He gave freely and without hesitation, often helping others, sometimes even strangers, simply because he saw a need. He never placed himself first and lived a life grounded in compassion, kindness, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people.
In keeping with Barry’s strong belief in “Giving the Gift of Sound,” the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to West Texas Lions Hearing, Inc. Checks may be mailed to: West Texas Lions Hearing, Inc. 9636 Gairloch Dr. El Paso, TX 79925
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Linda, our nurse at The Hospitals of Providence – Memorial Campus, and to Olga, our inpatient nurse from Altomar Home Healthcare, for their exceptional care and compassion.
