Beatriz Josefina Lewis Diaz-Rosas

Beatriz Josefina Lewis, known affectionately to family and friends as Bea, passed away on May 14, 2026, in Roseville, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar A. Lewis and Mercedes Schwartz Lewis; her brother, Oscar A. Lewis Jr.; and her beloved husband, Jaime (Jimmy) Rosas.

Born in Mexico City and raised in El Paso, Texas, Bea is survived by her daughter, Sonia Diaz-Ebadi; son-in-law, Sean Ebadi; and grandson, Jake Ebadi, of Henderson, Nevada; her brother, Mario Lewis; her nephew, Diego M. Lewis, of Chicago, Illinois; her niece, Elena Lewis, of Austin, Texas; her nephew, Sean Lewis, of Martinez, California; and her grandniece, Sophia Isabela Lewis Hernandez, of Austin, Texas.

She worked as a customer support representative for several banking institutions and also served as a court interpreter. 

The family extends heartfelt thanks to her dear friend, Patrick Stewart, and her caregiver, Erika Gruemberg, for their generosity, kindness and support during her final vigil.

Services are Tuesday July 7, 2026 at 11:00am, Fort Bliss Cemetery
