Beatriz Eugenia Flores

Beatriz E. Flores passed away peacefully on May 23, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.   “Betty” was born on August 30, 1939, in El Paso, Texas and was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1958. 

Betty is survived by her three children Jessica Garza and her husband Robert Garza, Jr., Alex Flores and his wife Delia Flores, and Jaime Flores and his wife Evette Flores; 13 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her sisters Teresa Gardener, Rosemary Fuselier and Dora Tinajero, as well as her former husband, Jesus Flores.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Flores and Carmen Del Rio Flores, her brothers Frank Flores, Jesus “Chuy” Flores and her sister Carmen Jacquez.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, May 27, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza.
