Betty Elizabeth Clement

Betty Elizabeth Clement passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 95.  She Was born on May 9th 1927, To John Morris and Emily Frances Hood, in Royston England.  During WW2 she worked various job, one of which was working in a parachute factory.  She met James Allen Clement while he was stationed at RAF Lakenheath and they soon married, July 14th, 1945.  Betty and James lived at various Air Force bases ranging from three tours in England, one base in Georgia, a assignment at Guam and finally being stationed in El Paso Tx where they settled.  While living in El Paso Betty worked several job before focusing her talents in the insurance industry.  She worked in various agencies and for a time had her own insurance agency.  Her career in insurance spanned forty years.  during that time she briefly served as President of Federation of Insurance Women of Texas  and was named Woman of the year in 1978-1979.
 Betty's husband of 62 years passed away July 17th, 2007.  She is survived by two sons John L Clement and James M Clement , three Daughters Dorinda Yost, Shirley Clement and Susan Campbell, nine Grandchildren, eighteen Great Grandchildren and five Great-Great Grandchildren.
 Graveside services and Burial are scheduled for December 8th 2022 at 1:30 PM At Fort Bliss Cemetery
