Betty Ursula Dunlap

A loving wife, mother, sister, oma, tante, and friend. In our hearts, you will always stay, loved and remembered every day.

Betty Ursula Dunlap passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13th of May 2025, with her loving husband, David, and two daughters, Donna and Kim, by her side.

Betty was born in Nürnberg, Germany, on the 7th of January 1943. She was the youngest of three children. Betty married the love of her life, US Army Soldier David, and spent 60+ years together. She became a US citizen in 1967. She worked and raised two beautiful daughters. She will be remembered for her strength, independence, generous heart, love of reading, gardening, travel, and devotion to family.

Betty is survived by her husband, David; her daughters, Donna and Kim; her sons-in-law, Larry and Gilbert; grandchildren Savanna and Kenny (better known as Oma); her sister, Renate; her niece and her husband; her brother and sister in-law, Wayne and Tina; her stepfather-in-law, John; her German friends; and the family cat, Mitsula.

Rest peacefully.

Committal Service will be at 3:00 pm, Friday, June 06, 2025, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
