Betty Ann Seiler

December 14, 1943 — October 14, 2024

Betty Ann Seiler was born in El Paso Texas on December 14, 1943, and passed over the rainbow bridge on October 14, 2024, in the city of her birth.

Betty Ann, also known as Betsy, was passionate about family, friends, childhood education, El Paso High, history, holidays, and cats. Strong and fiercely independent, she had an Undergraduate and a Master’s degree, worked as a social worker, an educator, and volunteered at the Food Book. She loved New Mexico, lived happily for many years in Ruidoso surrounded by many dear and fun-loving friends. Betty Ann was also passionate about justice, fairness, and politics and called herself a blueberry in a bowl of tomato soup.

A proud member of El Paso High’s Class of 1962, she loved class reunions and classmate gatherings and was instrumental in helping to organize these events.

Betty Ann had a wonderful smile, an unforgettable laugh, and a warm and loving spirit. Her departure was one of grace and dignity, in peaceful repose.

Donations can be made to the Lincoln County Food Bank, Ruidoso New Mexico in memory of Betsy Seiler.
