Beverly R. Jackson

Beverly Ruth Jackson, 89, passed away on September 12, 2013 following a massive stroke. Bev was married to James S. Jackson since 1942. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Barthholf and husband Paul of Erie, Colorado; her granddaughter Stephanie Mendelson and husband Steve and their two children Ethan and Abby, of Asheville, North Carolina; one sister-in-law Joan Haren of El Paso, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Bev had a long, successful career with Circle K, and with Rockwell International, from where she retired. She was a great cook, gifted craft person, enjoyed traveling, and loved summers in Ruidoso. Cremation will take place. Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, September 23, 2013 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the El Paso Humane Society or to La Mariposa Hospice. Bev will be greatly Missed by her family and her special friends and neighbors.
