Robert Garcia, 61, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on November 21, 2025, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. Born on September 3, 1964, Robert lived his life with a strength, dedication, and heart that touched everyone who knew him.
Robert was a proud graduate of Bowie High School and later from UTEP, going on to build a career he truly cherished as a PE coach and teacher. He loved working with students—encouraging them, pushing them to believe in themselves, and showing them what they were capable of. His impact in the classroom and coaching will live on through every student he inspired.
Robert was known for his incredible work ethic. He was a strong, dependable man who worked tirelessly for his family, always making sure they were cared for and supported. He gave everything he had to the people he loved and never hesitated to put their needs before his own.
And anyone who knew Robert knew his heart beat a little louder for the Dallas Cowboys. He was a true die-hard fan—loyal, passionate, and full of hope every season. Game days were a big part of his life, and cheering for his team brought him so much joy.
More than anything, Robert loved his family. He and his wife, Sandra, shared 36 years of marriage, building a life filled with love. He was his children’s biggest fan, always cheering them on, always proud, always present. His strength, his guidance, and his love will forever stay with them.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra, and his children Cassandra, Robert, Buddi, and Danni. They will carry his love, his lessons, and his example of strength with them for the rest of their lives.
To honor Bobby and his lifelong Cowboys pride, everyone attending his services is encouraged to wear Dallas Cowboy gear—a tribute to one of the many things that brought him the most joy.
