Carl Wright

Carl Wright Born in San Diego, CA, on June 16, 1929, Carl moved to El Paso in 1934 and passed away on June 10, 2015. He attended Ysleta High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1944. Carl was an automotive mechanic and owned Wright Automotive. A licensed pilot for 67 years, Carl worked for War Eagles Air Museum for 17 years. A devout Christian and an ordained minister, Carl was active in church work for 57 years. Carl is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elsie, his three children and spouses, Carl (Sandra), Kauai, Hi, Deborah (Joe), Amarillo, TX, Carey (Scott), Waitsfield, VT, and three grandchildren, Nathan Luscombe, Ian and Frankie Bennett. Carl is also survived by his brother, Bobby Wright of Abilene, TX and his wife, Myrna. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church.
