Carlos A. Alderete, a beloved member of the community, passed away on October 3, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 84. Born on March 17, 1941, in Mexico, Carlos's journey through life was marked by his devotion to his family and friends, and his commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those around him.

Carlos was a loving husband to Dora Alderete, who survives him. Their bond was a testament to love and partnership, and they shared many cherished moments together that exemplified their deep connection.

A visitation will be held on October 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast in El Paso. The prayer service will commence at 6:00 PM and conclude at 7:15 PM.

Friends and family are invited to gather once more for a funeral service on October 21, 2025, beginning at 8:30 AM, to celebrate the life and legacy of Carlos. The service will take place at the same location, and he will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, with interment starting at 10:00 AM.
