Carlos Chino Mellado

Carlos Chino Mellado, age 76, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 06, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed. Carlos is preceded in death by his father; Eduardo Mellado. He is survived by his mother; Estela Hernandez Mellado; his loving wife; Martha Moreno Mellado; his dearest children; Christopher Mellado, Susie Mellado and Elizabeth Fretenborough; his siblings; Eduardo Mellado Jr., Ernesto Mellado and Mary Gomez; his 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 am, Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm at St. Raphael Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, TX 79925, with a Graveside Service to follow at 1:30 pm at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
