Sgt. Carlos O. Torres

Sgt. Carlos O. Torres, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026 at the age of 71. He is survived by his loving family: daughters Patricia Magallanez (Mando) and Pamela Hall (Abraham); grandchildren: Patrick Arenivar, Jr., Mercedes A. Magallanez, Priscilla Arenivar, Destiny Sanchez, Joshua Magallanez, Miranda Magallanez, and Jaxen A. Hall; great-granddaughters Alaïa Mae Magallanez and one on the way; and his brother and sister. Carlos is preceded in death by his parents; Reynaldo Torres and Francisca Ortiz, wife Mary G. Torres, daughter Priscilla Torres, grandson Isaac Magallanez, and sister Mary Torres Guevara. We are thankful for his dedication, humor, strength, and immense love. He will be deeply missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 N. Loop, El Paso, TX. 79927. A Mass at 1:00 PM on Friday , August 28, 2026 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 131 S. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907. A Committal Service to follow at 2:30 PM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
