Carmen P. Torres

Carmen P. Torres, 80, born in Delicias, Chihuahua, is resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord. Her great loves were her family and being a nurse. She graduated with a nursing degree from the Universidad de Chihuahua and worked as a labor and delivery nurse in several maternity wards, including Providence Memorial Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Alfredo, and children Carmen Diaz de Leon, Patricia McLean, Yvonne Loera, Raul Torres and Macrina Gonzalez as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons Alfredo (Pancho) and Javier. Services will be Friday, April 1, 2016. Visitation from 10:00am-11:30am with Rosary at 11:30 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina. Mass at 1:00pm at San Antonio Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Sunset Funeral Home, 750 N. Carolina.
