Carol Jane Archut

Carol Archut returned to her heavenly home March 15, 2016, she was 86. Carol was born February 23, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA to her parents, Elwood and Carrie Latshaw. She married Robert Wallingford Archut August 17, 1949. They raised their seven boys in El Paso, TX. She worked most of her adult life in the medical records department at Providence-Memorial Hospital, El Paso, TX. Carol was blessed with a large loving family. Carol gave herself to every family member without reservation and rejoiced in the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol will be truly missed by us all. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Carol is survived by her following sons and daughter-in-laws:, Robert and Dawn Archut, Cloudcroft, NM; Alfred and Michelle Archut, El Paso, TX; Anthony and Esther Archut, Colorado Springs, CO; Christopher and Barbara Archut, Port Orchard, WA; Andrew and Deborah Archut, Davenport, FL; Larry and Kim Archut, Hesperus, CO; her son Paul Archut, Floresville, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Beth Latshaw, San Diego, CA; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home NE, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX on Wednesday, March 23rd at 10:00 am followed by a Scripture Service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carols’ life.
