Carol Bertrand

Carol Lynne Bertrand passed away May 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Vernell Griffin, and her brother Steve. Carol is survived by loving husband Bruce Nolen, his daughters Elizabeth (Rick) and Lisa (Scott) and their children, her brother Mark and his wife Sally, niece and nephew Erica and Daniel and their families, and her sister-in-laws Lisa and Terry. Born November 11, 1960 in Maryland, Carol relocated to El Paso with her family in 1976. She graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso and UTEP with an Accounting degree. Over the years she held various accounting positions in the banking, utility and construction industries. While employed with CF Jordan Construction, she made some of her dearest friends and met her loving husband. Most recently she was employed with the El Paso County Historical Society. She will be remembered for being a kind and caring friend to all that entered her life circle. She loved life and travel, and had many wonderful memories of times spent with her husband, family and friends. Her love for animals was well known by those near to her. She was a firm believer and supporter of animal rescue efforts. In lieu of gifts, donations may be made to The El Paso County Historical Society or El Paso Humane Society in Carol Bertrand's name.
