Carol D. White

October 12, 1939 — April 6, 2014

Carol D. White went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 12, 1939 in Abilene, Texas. Carol served in the United States Air Force for twenty years and worked for the El Paso County until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Mary, and daughters Amy (Trent), and Kendra. Grandchildren: Hunter, Gavin and Lily. He loved serving others on mission teams to Bosnia, Hungary, Latvia, Macedonia, Mexico and Slovakia. Carol volunteered at St. Marks School with the upkeep of the computers and anything else that the teachers needed. A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday April 11, 2014 at St. Mark’s UMC, 5005 Love Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mark’s mission for building a church in Kisvaszar, Hungary for the gypsy village. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
