Carolyn Joy Lawrence, a beloved mother, grandmother, passed away on December 20, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 89. Born on September 14, 1936, in Boone, Iowa, Carolyn's life was characterized by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering commitment to her family.

She is survived by her three sons, Allen, Martin, and Andrew, and her daughter, Cynthia. Each of her children carries forward the values that Carolyn instilled in them—love, determination, and resilience. Her nurturing spirit and devotion to her family made her a cornerstone of their lives, and her legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations.

A graveside service to honor Carolyn's life will take place on January 12, 2026, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, located at 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906. The service will begin at 1:30 PM, with guests encouraged to arrive early to pay their respects.
