Catarina P. Concha

Catarina P. Concha 87 of Chaparral, New Mexico passed away on January 20, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, Amado and Francisca Padilla, all her siblings, her husband, Ernesto L. Concha and her son Michael Concha. Survived by sons, Ernesto Concha, Jr., Paul Concha; daughter, Jennifer Concha; grandchildren, Christopher Concha, Michael Concha, Jr., Alyssa C. Concha, Brittany C. Concha, Diana Concha, Sylvia Concha, Paul Concha, Jr., Amy N. Trejo, Megan Y. Trejo and Bianca C. Trejo. Also survived by her 8 great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and brother-in-laws, Robert L. Concha, Oscar L. Concha, and Rudy Concha. She was known as an amazing educator, changed so many students' lives, she will be greatly be missed by all and never forgotten. We love you Mom and Grandma.

 A Visitation to honor Catarina will be held on January 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast, located at 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, TX. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on January 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 568 E. Lisa Drive, Chaparral, NM. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at Desert View Cemetery, located at 450 Lisa Drive, Chaparral, NM, at 11:00 AM.
