Celeste D. Dominguez, 33, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

She was born in El Paso, Texas, on February 4, 1993. She graduated from Americas High School before attending El Paso Community College.

Her closest friends knew her as Ryanne. And anyone who knew Celeste knew just how deeply she loved her baby girl, Hitomi. Celeste was funny and witty, with a beautiful smile and a wonderful laugh that will be deeply missed.

Celeste was very talented and had a passion for drawing, photography, and animals. While studying fashion at EPCC, she used her artistic talents to sketch clothing designs and models for class. She combined her love of photography with her joy for the outdoors, capturing beautiful images of nature. Celeste also loved animals and enjoyed spoiling her beloved dogs, Bella and Sancho.

And let’s not forget Celeste’s green thumb. Anything she planted seemed to grow and thrive. She had a special knack for choosing just the right location, the best light, and the proper soil. Celeste could take a wilted houseplant and nurture it back to exceptional health.

Celeste was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Gloria and Arnaldo Del Val, and her grandfather, Eduardo Orozco.

Celeste leaves behind her partner, Eduardo Lucero, and their beautiful daughter, Hitomi; her parents, Rebecca and Jaime Rivera; her sister, Adriana Rivera; her grandparents, Alejandrina and Alan Bauer; her aunt Gloria Orozco, her cousins Kelsey Dodds-Hernandez (Josiah), Matthew Orozco and her niece Emery Dodds.

Celeste will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her wonderful sense of humor, her creativity, and the love she shared with those around her. Above all, she will be remembered for the tremendous love she had for her daughter, Tomi. Celeste’s beautiful spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary Service at 6:00pm, Thursday, October 22 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina.

Mass Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 23 at St. Mark Catholic Church at 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd., El Paso, TX 79936
