Celia H. Berumen

Celia H. Berumen, age 89, departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Her cheerful and welcoming disposition made friends of strangers. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Celia is preceded in death by her dear parents; Juan Hernandez and Maria Jesus De La Cruz; and her loving husband; Jose Berumen. She is survived by her caring sons; Eduardo Berumen (Loretta), Juan Berumen and Jose Berumen (Claudia); her siblings; Aurora Flesher and Moises Hernandez; and her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home- West. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home- West, with a Graveside Service to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Memorial Pines, Sunland Park, NM 88063. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
