Celina Barajas

CELINA BARAJAS passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 at the age of 97. She was an active and longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, serving as a Communion Minister, the Altar Society and League of Sacred Heart. She was a loving mother, grandmother, friend and will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her husband Eduardo Barajas Sr. She is survived by her son Eduardo Barajas Jr. and his wife Barbara of Charlotte, NC., daughter Lupe Oliver and her husband Henry Oliver of Anthony, NM., her sister Laurencia Sierra, grandchildren Elaine Geherty of Las Cruces, NM., Celina Marie Oliver of Charlotte, NC., and Kathleen Atkins of Ashburn, Va. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 12:15PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 2:00PM.
