Charles Bussey, 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2016.
Charles was born in Harlem, New York, New York on December 2, 1939. He graduated from the high School of Commerce and then attended City College of new York Majoring in Economics.
Charles worked for Pitney-Bowes starting as a Territory salesman and quickly advanced to become a sales Trainer, District Manager of the Bronx, Branch Manager of Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island and finally culminating in Branch Sales Manager for New York. Charles continued to have success as an executive salesman with Avon Products and as an executive trainer with Dale Carnegie & Associates. Charles began his own construction company called Apple City Construction and became Vice President of operations for Magnum vending Corporation. Charles obtained a black belt in Judo in 1968 and was also an avid tennis player.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Etta Bussey. He leaves behind his sons Tod and Phillip; granddaughters, Brandy, Jennifer, and Faith; great grandchildren, Naomi and Isaiah; his cousins, Mamie Major, Ameer Major, Shakir Major, Rahqwan Major, Kavon Major, and Zion Major; and cousins from the Simpson, Brown, Gillespie, Todman, and Watts Families. Gathering of Remembrance will be from 5-9 PM with Prayer Service at 7 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Homes Northeast 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, Texas 79904.
