CHARLES (Chuck) HENRY GABRIEL born El Paso, TX September 8, 1921, passed away December 5, 2014 at the age of 93. He was one of three combat crewmen who have flown aerial battles with four Air Forces and was a Bombardier over Normandy, Italy, Tunisia, and Europe Air Offensive in which he was awarded EAME Theater Ribbon with four Bronze Service Stars, Air Medal with six Oak Leaf Clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rose Gabriel, brother Tommy Gabriel, and his sister Mary Kaudaissy. He is survived by his sister Jennie Caldari, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 9:30AM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Air Force Honors. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, War Eagle Air Museum, and the El Paso Art Museum. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N.
