Charlotte Roberta Meadows

Charlotte R. Meadows, also known as Shirley was born May 23, 1941 to Dave and Dolly Mills in Baltimore, Maryland. Shirley met the love of her life, Joseph C. Meadows in 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. To this 55 year union four children were born. Shirley worked for AAFES as a Cashier Supervisor for 23 years. She retired in 2003. In her spare time Shirley enjoyed cooking and vacations at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. She was preceded in death by her parents Dave and Dolly Mills and her sister Florence Luckey. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Joseph C. Meadows, two sons Joseph (Sherry) Meadows Jr. and Julius (Uneeda) Meadows, two daughters Patricia (Bobby) James, Charlene and her daughter Jenesis Meadows, host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast with Committal Service to follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
