Charlotte moved to La Salle, Illinois, in 1939 with her father shortly after the death of her mother. Upon arriving in La Salle, she met the love of her life, Charles (Bud) Ramenofsky. Charlotte and Bud were married on June 30, 1946. Charlotte graduated from the University of Illinois with a liberal arts degree in 1947 where she was a member of the Sigma Delta Tau sorority. Charlotte and Bud settled in their hometown of La Salle, Illinois, and later moved to the neighboring town of Peru, Illinois. Charlotte was a Past President of the Temple B’nai Moshe Sisterhood where she was a volunteer for many years. Charlotte and Bud moved to El Paso in 1973 and immediately became members of the El Paso community. Charlotte was a life member of the El Paso Section of the National Council of Jewish Women and Hadassah as well as Temple Mount Sinai Sisterhood and B’nai B’rith Women. Charlotte's biggest joy in life was her family, and she loved spending time with her children, their spouses, grandchildren and spouses, and recently her great granddaughters.
