"Chito" Serrano

Presiliano "Chito" Serrano, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Presiliano Serrano and Teodora Flores; and grandson, Christopher Lee Serrano. Survived by his loving wife, Criselda Franco Serrano; son, Samuel Serrano; daughters: Velma Serrano Martinez, Lora Serrano Rodriguez (Eddie Rodriguez), and Cora Serrano; grandchildren: Justin Lee Serrano, Paul Anthony Martinez (Manda Martinez), Steven Phillip Martinez, Christine Michelle Flores, and Corina Lee Flores Cajas (Nick Cajas); great grandchildren: Nina Alexandra Cajas and Riley Joe Martinez. Presiliano is also survived by his brother, Sebastian Serrano and sister, Basilisa Polanco. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2013 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers to serve will be: Justin Lee Serrano, Paul Anthony Martinez, Steven Phillip Martinez, Albert Vasquez, Luis Serrano Jr., and Manuel Polanco Jr. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
