Concepcion Portillo

Concepcion Portillo 85, passed away on June 06, 2022. He is now in heaven joining his loving wife Emilia, his parents Jose and Elisa, brothers Edgar, Jose, Roberto Neto and sister Chita. He left behind his sister Chole and his children Daniel (Lori) Elisa (Terry), John (Irma) and Armando (Eva). Seven grandchildren Brittany, Shawn (Jenny), Christian, Deana, Amanda, Celeste and Santiago. Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Portillo graduated from Bowie High School he was a bus driver for El Paso City Lines/ Sun Metro and was a bus monitor for El Paso School District. He coached Southeast T-Birds football, Basketball and baseball for several years. He enjoyed his little casino (Sweepstakes) which he visited on a daily basis. He was the life of the party and enjoyed life to his fullest. He will be missed! Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at St. Raphael Church, 2301 Zanzibar. Interment to follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery East.
