Constance "Connie" Oberndorfer

Constance Oberndorfer Connie Oberndorfer, age 82, beloved wife and mother went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2016. Connie was born in Friendship, Indiana to Victor and Rachel Siekerman. Connie attended Indiana University. Connie worked for the US Government until her retirement. Connie is survived by sons Michael, Anthony, and Christopher Gribben, step children John Oberndorfer, Janetta Manley, Marge Cook, eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Connie was a passionate advocate for animal rights. There never was a neighborhood stray animal as they all seemed to be adopted by Connie. In lieu of flowers, Connie would like donations made to local animal rescue organizations. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2016 with a Prayer Service at 7 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. A Committal Service will be at 9 AM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
