Cruz Gomez

Cruz “Cui” Gomez, beloved father and friend, passed away on May 2, 2012 at the age of 82.An El Paso native, Cruz was a Korean War Veteran in the United States Army and served his country proudly.He worked for the El Paso Natural Gas Co. and later again at Ft. Bliss as a civilian.He was a man of few words but his heart spoke volumes. He will be dearly missed and thought of often. He is survived by his children: daughters, Delfina Gomez and Patricia Gomez and sons, Juan Gomez and Francisco Gomez. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 5-9pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am, Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Alabama St. Committal Service will be held at 11:30am, Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
