Curtis Hampton, 73, concluded his courageous three year journey with Alzheimer's. Throughout his battle, Curtis exemplified grace and positivity that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him.
An accomplished musician and pianist, was shared with US Army band where he served for over 20 years.
Curtis found equal fulfillment after his military career, playing for several churches locally, and mentoring students. He is survived by his wife Diane, and brother Steve, children Kristin, Patrick, Kevin, Adam and stepsons Joseph and Kevin, 14 grandchildren.
The family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
