David I. Martinez

David Martinez, 14, went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2015. Survived by parents, Albert and Yolanda Martinez, sisters, Veronica, Sonia Blanton, Gina Hernandez and Alexis Sparks. Grandparents, Gilbert and Petra Macias, Ernesto and Irma Martinez. Several aunts, uncles and cousins. David, I can still hear and picture you in my mind, Drumming away for Jesus in worship service. Now, you are in his presence son, and part of the greatest worship service ever! Your life on this earth impacted many people. You brought the first visitor to our church, who brought his whole family, who brought their friends, who will bring others in time to come. Your life truly inspired and lifted others up, you had a gift from God to lead others in making righteous choices for their lives. But now Jesus has called you home, and I know that you are rejoicing in Heaven! My heart mourns that you are gone, but rests in the fact that you are in Heaven! Son, We all love you, and will miss you so very much, But we will be reunited some day! Save us a place next to yours. We Love You So Very Much, Daddy, Mommy, sisters, and all the family Home Going Celebration will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 2, at The Door Christian Fellowship Church, 1000 Kastrin Street. Burial will be at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery following the service.
