David Ortiz

David Ortiz, 45, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. He was a dedicated police officer for the El Paso Police Department. David was the beloved husband of Lorena Ortiz, devoted father of David Dallas Ortiz and Amanda Lyann Ortiz. Cherished son of the Ramon and Herlinda Ortiz, dear brother of Raymond Ortiz, Jr., Javier Ortiz, Rebecca Andrade and Sylvia Gonzales. David is further survived by many dear friends and fellow Police Officers of the El Paso Police Department. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 673 Old Hueco Tanks Road. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
