David Desiderio Ybañez Jr.

David Desiderio Ybañez Jr., age 76, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed. David is preceded in death by his loving parents; David Desiderio Ybañez and Matlide Urrutia. He is survived by his loving wife; Griselda Gonzalez Ybañez; loving mother of his five children; Gloria D. Hernandez; his dearest children; Monica McSwain, Sandra Baffert (Bret), David Desiderio Ybañez III, Andrey Rene Ybañez, Daniel Carlos Ybañez, David Jahir Ybañez and Dempsey Ybañez; his brothers; Sergio Ybañez, Richard Ybañez and James Ybañez; his grandchildren; Vianca Zaragoza, Victoria Zaragoza, Atiana McSwain, Brittany Wright (Jordan), Brennen Baffert, Brianna Baffert, Daniel Alexander Ybañez and Scarlett Isabella Ybañez; and his great-grandchild; Conrad Nagel. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am, Monday, September 25, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home- West with a Prayer Service to commence at 10:00 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 pm at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere St., El Paso, Texas 79912.
