Dean Lachlan Campbell was an incredibly strong and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and boss. He left this world suddenly on January 23, 2022 at age 72. He was born on August 18, 1949 in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. He was a successful Attorney and Certified Public Accountant. While attending college in Puebla, Mexico, for international relations in 1970, he met his beloved wife, Maria in Puebla, Mexico. They were married in Tula, Tamulipas, Mexico in April of 1972. He is survived by her, his two children, Carlo and Cristina, and his two grandchildren Angelica and Nochi. Dean loved spending time in nature appreciating the beauty of the natural world, reading books of every genre for hours, and dancing salsa and cha-cha-cha with his beloved wife. He was known by his friends and family for being intelligent, humble, hardworking, and a man of integrity. His sense of humor and warm nature brought color and light into the lives of his loved ones. He was a gentle man and had a soft spot for his dogs, Guapo and Pepper. He had a deep love and appreciation for classical music and would fill his home with sweet concertos and sonatas. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Enid and Craig. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on February 8, 2022 at Peace Lutheran Church on 1699 Belvidere Street, El Paso, TX 79912.
