Delia lived an overflowing life; traveling the world with the family and friends she loved. Being an avid reader, Delia always had a good book at her fingertips. Delia was a great fan of rock music, most notably the band Queensrÿche. Even going so far as "encouraging" members of her family to join the Queensrÿche Fan Club. Her passion for classic movies, especially Gone with the Wind, lives on with her son. In her youth, she spent her time in her school library rather than going outside for P.E. class. As an adult, Delia became a high school English teacher, and later, a librarian who cared for "at risk" teens and outcasts; giving them a safe place to be at school. Delia was in the education field for almost 20 years. She had a large impact on the countless number of students whom she referred to as "her kids." She is survived by her loving husband Hugo Ordoñez, her cherished son Hugo Victor Ordoñez, and adored family and friends.
