Delores E. Boyd

Rev. Delores E. Boyd was born on May 5th 1938. She married Clifford M. Boyd Sr. on May 10th, 1954. She was a dutiful wife and outstanding mother of her five children and their spouses; Catherine E. Davis, Clifford M. Boyd Jr., William A. Boyd, Carlton Boyd, Delores Iheanacho, son-in-law Blessing Iheanacho, daughter-in-laws Priscilla Boyd and Arlene Boyd. She was a devoted Christian and dedicated her life to the service of God. She was the co-pastor of Disciples of Christ Full Gospel Church in El Paso, Texas. She touched many lives through her God appointed ministry. She leaves in her memory, her beloved husband, five children, fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves cherished memories with her two sisters Annie Giles and Lilian Yarbrough and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by a multitude of relatives, church members, and close friends. She gave her best to all she encountered and inspired people through her love and understanding. She believed in God’s precepts and taught us the importance of following Jesus Christ. She is loved by many and will never be forgotten. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Monday, January 4, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Reflection of Life will be at 12:00 PM Monday, January 4, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Monday January 4, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
