Destinee Krystine Ochoa, 18, passed away May 8, 2016. She was a senior at Americas High School and a proud member of cosmetology. She had passed her written exam. She was scheduled to take her practical test next week to earn her cosmetology license. Destinee wanted to be a special effects make up artist. She is survived by her parents; Javier and Charmaine Ochoa, brother; Juan Javier Ochoa, sisters; Madison Ochoa, Kennedy Ochoa, step sisters; Savannah Ochoa, Gabriella Ochoa, paternal grandparents; Juan and Juana Ochoa and maternal grandfather; Juan M. Montanez, Sr. many uncles, aunts and cousins. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Stephan Catholic Church, 1700 George Dieter. Interment will be Private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
